It’s in the works that part of Caesars palace is going to be revamped. Is it just us or does the name sounds like something out of star wars?
LAS VEGAS (AP) – Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip is planning to spend millions to redesign one of its towers and rename it after a chain of Japanese restaurants.
Officials announced Monday that the casino and Nobu Hospitality have signed a non-binding letter of intent to develop the 180-room rebranded hotel within Caesars Palace.
Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner says he estimates the new Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Lounge will open in about 15 months. He says the existing Centurion Tower will likely be shut down for renovations in the summer. He declined to estimate the cost of the project.
Officials say the Nobu hotel will have separate check-in and room service from Nobu.
Nobu Hospitality CEO Trevor Horwell says he hopes it’s the first of many Nobu hotels around the world.
